CONSIDER HOPE...
There was once a man named Joel who wanted to learn to sing more than anything in the world! When he began singing once in a while for the church services, people cringed at his voice. Get the hook, they thought. (I thought so, too.) Joel was undaunted and spent time and money on voice lessons, learning technique and practicing in the evenings after work . He sang several more times and after a few months, something started to happen: He got better! Finally, one Sunday morning, Joel got up to sing, confident and smiling! The song was perfectly sung. No one cringed. I was amazed! I knew this man had hope that one day, he would be able to sing praises to God. Hope gives you wings to believe in accomplishing your dreams and goals. I hope to be a good writer one day. What do you hope for, my friends? May your day be blessed!

VICTORY IN SIGHT
Some people may think I'm a dumb blond, but I know I'm not. I achieved a goal that proves I will be successful in writing my mystery series. I was able to upload a web filtered file to Kindle. Was the file perfect when it arrived? No. But it arrived. My husband stared as I shouted, as if from the roof top, "I will succeed!" And, "Yes, I did it!" Affirmation that nothing is impossible once you set your mind to it. And I've set my mind to not only write cozy mysteries that people enjoy reading, but to publish and market them on my own. Thank you, Winston Churchill for these great words to never never never give up. I encourage you to do the same, my friends.

SNOOPY DANCE!
This is how I feel today after reaching my weight loss goal. In fact, I went under my goal which makes me feel even happier. I really believe a person can do anything they set their mind to if they really want something. I want to be at a certain weight. You may want a certain job or your books to sell well. You may want good health or a house. It doesn't matter. The neat thing is that it's up to you and me. What do you want to happen? I decided I wanted to be a certain weight, I was disciplined to eat a certain way and kept busy, and I was determined to reach that weight goal. Call it 3-D. Decide, Be Disciplined, and Be Determined. I wish you lovely success in whatever you decide to do! God bless you today!
