FOOD AND FELLOWSHIP
Next to Friday night, Wednesday night is my favorite night of the week. Our church family gathers together bringing food for the meal (tonight is lasagna, french bread, salad and several kinds of yummy dessert), and enjoys fellowship as we share our meal. I used to think preparing such a large meal would be a lot of work, but when we all pitch in and bring some element, it's hardly any work at all. When it's time to clean up, there is so much camaraderie that it feels like a party instead of a chore. For me, the Wednesday Night Meal is a lovely ritual that I plan on taking part in for as long as I'm able. Happy Wednesday, dear friends!

NOT ALONE
It took over a year for me to join a writer's group. What a waste of valuable time! Tonight we meet (even though I have to wear a face mask because of my allergies) to talk about genres, do a writing exercise, and have fellowship with others who share common ground. An author's work is mostly mental, or used to be. Today, however, we indie authors have to do it all! What a blessing to join with others who share our passion to write. The support is invaluable and I urge you newbies out there to find one in your area and join! When you find a group where you fit in, it's a lovely thing, indeed!
